Via Aviz, tive a curiosidade de fazer um gugle "Sydney Sheldon" Portugal. O livro deve ser giro, e não pode ser dêvêdês todas as noites.
Mas não estava à espera desta pérola que encontrei:

Já reparastes que o Prime Minister of Portugal, juntamente com Sydney Sheldon, é o único famous guest estrangeiro que não está mal ortografado? Nem o Président de la République escapa ao massacre. E ainda dizem que a Central de Comunicação do Governo não funciona… ah, gente de pouca fé, não vêdes que é também pela ortografia que se mede o prestígio de uma pátria?!
